[BusinessGrad] Executive-in-Residence Week March 29 to April 2

Dear Brock School of Business students,

Next week, March 29-April 2, the Brock School will be celebrating its annual Executives-in-Residence Week.  This week is set aside each year to celebrate the wonderful relationships the School has with the business and professional communities, and to provide students with multiple opportunities to hear from and interact with leading executives.

Many of you will benefit from guest appearances from visiting executives in your regular courses throughout the week.  There are also several special opportunities available to you that I want to highlight.


*         U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama) will make a special appearance on Monday, March 29, 3:00 p.m. in Brock Recital Hall.  (Convocation credit is available to undergraduate students)

*         Carolyn Cartwright, Director of Diversity Initiatives with SunTrust Bank, will speak at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30, in Reid Chapel. (Convocation credit is available to undergraduate students)

*         Drayton Nabers, former Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court and former CEO of Protective Life Corporation, will be my guest for the Dean's Leadership Series, scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, in Brock Forum. (Convocation credit is available to undergraduate students)

*         Four executives will participate in a panel to discuss important career and educational advice at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, in Brock Forum.  The four panelists include Linda Allison (CEO, First Financial Group), Stuart Bridges (Managing Director, Sterne Agee), Victor Brown (Director of Workforce Development, Birmingham Business Alliance), and Lydia Wilbanks (Managing Partner, Wilbanks Agency). (Convocation credit is available for undergraduate students)
